Your Gravity, Your Rules

Shimsham is an exclusive 2-PLAYER-ONLY experience crafted especially for the Leap Motion.

Smash your opponent to the smooth sounds of classic jazz! In this heads-up competitive puzzle, each player fights for control of their world while battling competing laws of gravity. Use your finger to rotate every level and control the falling blocks to crush your opponent -- without letting them crush you first.

Gameplay:
  • Shimsham is a 2-player-only game
  • To begin a level both players must move their pointers over their START buttons
  • You control the gravity of your color, use it to your advantage
  • Score points by smashing your blocks into the spheres of the opposing player
  • Blocks will respawn when smashed into one another, but no points are awarded
  • Roll into white blocks with your sphere to create an additional player block
  • Push your hand in past the Leap Motion Controller to zoom
  • First player to 5 points wins!
Features
  • Delicious original Jazz Soundtrack and Audioscape
  • Beautiful unique Art Deco inspired visuals
  • Totally free, so why not?

  • Great Game

This game is very fun, especially if you're more competitive and looking for a fun game of strategy and dexterity. I experienced no problems with the app, and although it occasionally jumps while I'm playing, the overall experience is wonderful and a lot of fun. I highly recommend it!

  • This game is a piece of art!

The game has excellent design. At the beginning it needs a bit of time to understand how to control it and what's the goal.. but after that it is a huge fun. This is a two player game, which makes it even more entertaining. There are lot of rotations happening time to time, what can cause for some a headache.. but for the rest I recommend to try this game out!

  • Devs should learn the basics.

The cursor jumps all over on the selection screens, and the open-the-hand gesture doesn't help it, and shouldn't be necessary. Its start screen is so distracting that it doesn't help you to know how to use it. The programmers don't understand the basics of Object-Oriented Programming -- that EVERYTHING (directions, gestures, object of the game) should be explained WITHIN the app, not just in the online Airspace Store! Would it be so hard to add some text directions in the app?!

  • elegant & fun

Shimsham got really charming visual&audio choises which gives a smooth learning curve leaving the player to explore at his/her own personal pace. The game itself is nothing original, but does its job if you got a friend to play with (against).

This is a great game to play with a friend. It takes some minutes to get used to the controls and how it works but then it is really fun. Played with my nephew and we both enjoyed it very much.

  • Strange Games Should not Lack a Tutorial

    4 of 5
    by Satakyn – July 23, 2013

I understand the game's, and I'm sort of getting the hang of playing it, but there seems to be no single player mode with AI which would be helpful so that you always have an opponent and not a confused and frustrated friend trying to share a computer chair with you) and worst of all there is no tutorial. I suggest these modes be implemented: Tutorial, Single Player survival, Time Trial, and Stage Builder. It would also be nice if I could back out of a game using the Esc key.

  • Fun Game But Lacking Necessities

    4 of 5
    by jcflinn14 – July 24, 2013

First off, this game is only 2 players, so the lack of singleplayer is a con. But regardless, the game is fun once you figure out what the heck you are looking at. There really needs to be a tutorial to help new players figure out what they need to be doing.
